Privacy policy

Effective September 24, 2026

Codriver finds public posts from people describing a problem a founder's product solves, then drafts outreach for the founder to review and send themselves. This policy explains what information we handle and the choices you have.

Who we are

Codriver is a project of Paclake Labs LLC. In this policy, “Codriver,” “we,” and “us” refer to Paclake Labs LLC. This policy applies to getcodriver.app and the Codriver beta.

Information we collect

Information you give us

We collect your email address when you join the waitlist. Beta customers may also give us product information, target communities, example customer language, outreach preferences, drafts, and notes about conversations they record in Codriver. If you contact us, we receive the information in your message.

Public source information

Codriver processes public Reddit post data—including post text, public username, subreddit, permalink, and publication time—from customer-selected communities. We use it only to identify possible leads and draft outreach for human review. We do not access private messages or private communities.

Technical information

Our hosting and security providers may process basic request information such as IP address, browser type, timestamps, and error logs. Codriver uses an essential session cookie to keep authorized beta users signed in. We do not use advertising cookies or behavioral advertising trackers.

How we use information

  • Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve Codriver.
  • Manage the waitlist and communicate about the beta.
  • Find public posts that match a customer's stated product and audience.
  • Classify possible leads and draft personalized outreach for human review.
  • Evaluate and improve classification and drafting quality.
  • Comply with law and enforce our agreements.

Codriver never posts, comments, votes, sends direct messages, or otherwise contacts anyone on a customer's behalf. A person reviews and sends every draft from their own account.

How we use AI

Codriver sends limited public post content and the beta customer's product context to Anthropic so its language model can classify potential leads and create drafts. Codriver uses this content for inference and evaluation, not to train or fine-tune an AI model. We do not use Reddit content to infer sensitive traits, target advertising, or build profiles about people outside this lead-review workflow.

How we share information

We share information only as needed to operate Codriver:

  • Vercel hosts the web application.
  • Neon provides the application database.
  • Anthropic processes limited content for AI inference.
  • Sentry monitors errors and performance.
  • Professional advisers, authorities, or another business may receive information when required by law or as part of a business transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.

We do not sell personal information or Reddit content. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, sell access to a Reddit dataset, or provide it to data brokers.

Retention and deletion

We keep waitlist emails until you ask us to delete them or the waitlist closes. We keep beta customer information while the beta account is active and for only as long afterward as needed for legitimate business, security, and legal purposes.

We keep public Reddit content only while it is needed for the approved lead-review and evaluation workflow. Posts that our automated screening sets aside are deleted within 48 hours. After deletion, we keep only an anonymous cumulative count and non-identifying evaluation totals. If a Reddit post is deleted, restricted, or changed at its source, we will delete or update our copy as soon as possible after we learn of the change.

Reddit users and beta customers may ask us to delete content or account information by emailing us. We will verify the request when necessary and complete valid Reddit-content deletion requests within 10 days. If Reddit ends or revokes our access, we will stop using its services and delete Reddit content as required by our agreement with Reddit.

Your choices and rights

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with you, or object to or restrict certain uses. These rights vary by location. You can also ask to leave the waitlist at any time. We may request information needed to verify that you are the person concerned or are authorized to act for them.

Send requests to privacy@getcodriver.app. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

Security

We use access controls, encrypted connections, and service providers designed to protect stored information. No service can guarantee absolute security. If a security incident affects you, we will notify you when required by law.

International processing

Codriver and its service providers operate in the United States. If you use Codriver elsewhere, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your location.

Children

Codriver is a business product and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect account or waitlist information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Codriver changes. We will post the revised version here and change the effective date. If a change materially affects beta customers, we will provide additional notice when appropriate.
